Other Training & Education Opportunities

A 3-year NIH supported Laboratory Animal and Comparative Medicine fellowship for veterinarians is offered in the Section on Comparative Medicine.

In addition, the Integrative Lipid Sciences, Inflammation, and Chronic Diseases Training Program trains predoctoral students in the broad and expanding discipline of Lipid Sciences, with a particular emphasis on the relationships among lipid metabolism, inflammation, and chronic diseases.

The PhD in Molecular Pathology is also administered by the Section on Lipid Sciences; and an MS degree in Comparative Medicine is available.

An accredited 2-year training program for laboratory professionals in Medical Laboratory Science is administered by the Department of Pathology.
