Good news for PA preceptors

Here is one more reason for physician assistants to volunteer to be preceptors for second-year Wake Forest PA students: the American Academy of Physician Assistants has approved an application from PA Studies to award Category I CME for precepting.

PAs who serve as preceptors for the Wake Forest PA program will receive CME credit based on the following schedule:

Preceptors will not have to request the CME credit to receive it. The program will send certificates to preceptors by mail and email in June, at the end of the clinical year. Each preceptor can receive a maximum of 10 Category I CME credits per calendar year.
