The Western North Carolina Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience established our “SYNAPSE Award” to honor members for their public outreach activity, especially related to neuroscience education.Each year, the WNCSfN membership nominates individual members. And, through a rigorous selection process, the WNCSfN Executive Committee SYNAPSE Awardees based on the quality of the outreach and its lasting impact on our community.
