Urology
Ranked Among the Best Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report
Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is ranked among the nation's best urology hospitals by U.S. News & World Report.
Welcome to the Department of Urology!
Each week, hundreds of patients choose to be treated at the only urology practice in western North Carolina that is part of an academic medical center. Our urologists are experienced caring for the most complicated and difficult cases – from prostate and bladder cancer to congenital abnormalities. So it only makes sense that patients also turn to us for common conditions such as urinary tract infections and enlarged prostates.
Our role as a teaching hospital enables us to offer the latest treatments for our patients – in many areas our faculty helped set national and international standards for urological care. We were recently honored to be selected as one of America’s “Best Hospitals for Urologic Care” by U.S. News and World Report.
As proud as we are of our accolades, we’re also proud of our commitment to compassionate care, delivered in our convenient location at 140 Charlois Boulevard in Winston-Salem. When you or a family member needs urologic care, we hope you’ll turn to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
