Erectile Dysfunction: Erectile dysfunction is an extremely common problem among men, affecting more than half of those between the ages of 40 and 70. It can often be related to medical conditions such as diabetes and heart disease, but can also result from treatment of conditions such as prostate cancer. Male Infertility: When couples have trouble conceiving, about one third of the time the difficulty is related to male factors, which include sperm disorders, obstruction of the sperm passage, dilated scrotal veins, and retrograde ejaculation, which is when semen travels backwards into the bladder instead of out the penis.
