Clinical Vascular Laboratory
The Clinical Vascular Laboratory at Wake Forest University Medical Center, with a team of 6 registered vascular technologists led by Chief Technologist Scott W. Reavis, RVT, offers a broad range of noninvasive diagnostic testing including Duplex ultrasound imaging of all peripheral vascular beds (e.g., aortic, renal, mesenteric, carotid, and upper and lower extremities) and a range of physiological testing for artery, venous and lymphatic disorders.
This high-volume facility conducts more than 12,000 noninvasive studies annually, providing an experience unrivalled in the region. No other laboratory has more experience in screening for mesenteric disease or renal artery disease, an important cause of kidney failure and hypertension.
