A visit with one of our surgeons starts your care with an entire team of highly-specialized experts. As a patient, you may meet with one doctor, but an entire team will discuss and evaluate your medical situation. Our surgeons and vascular medicine specialist work together to offer comprehensive care and personalized treatments plans.
Our vascular surgery team carries on the Wake Forest Baptist Health tradition of being leaders in their field, with a long history of clinical experience and research achievements. Our surgeons are fellowship-trained, with national and international reputations.
They are trained in both open surgery and minimally-invasive procedures to give patients the widest possible range of treatment options. But that doesn't mean surgery is always the best course for the patient. When possible, our physicians manage patients with medical options, such as medication.
