The University Compliance Office is responsible for Wake Forest University's Internal Audit and Compliance activities. It serves as an independent and objective function to ensure that the University is in compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures that apply to all aspects of our operations. The University Compliance Office goals are to serve as a proactive resource for the University in:

• Anticipating and managing business risk;
• Ensuring the integrity of operational and financial information;
• Recommending and implementing procedures and training that support the University's compliance initiatives.

The University Compliance Officer reports to the University President and to the President of Wake Forest University Health Sciences, working closely with our legal staff and financial officers on the Reynolda and Health Sciences campuses. In addition, the office makes annual reports to the Audit and Compliance Committee of the Board of Trustees.
