Wake Forest Innovations was created in 2012 as a new operating division of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. As the Medical Center’s technology commercialization arm, Wake Forest Innovations supports scholarship, investing in the innovative potential of our academic and clinical communities and helping translate ideas and discoveries into valuable commercial products and services. Working with our faculty and partners in industry, government, the financial community and academia, we develop the healthcare innovations and sustainable companies of tomorrow.

Wake Forest Innovation Quarter is the new hub for innovation in bioscience and information technology in Winston-Salem, NC. Formerly known as the Piedmont Triad Research Park, the Wake Forest Innovation Quarter brings together business and academia to create a knowledge-based community built on the ethos of Work, Live, Learn, and Play. Companies in the Innovation Quarter are at the forefront of technology, developing products and services to improve quality of life through discoveries in life sciences and high tech innovation.
