Dr. Adolfo “Fuzz” Fernandez and his team at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center’s Bariatric Surgery Program have been awarded a 3 year accreditation as an American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence.

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is an ASMBS Center of Excellence. We offer the Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass, Adjustable Gastric Band, Sleeve Gastrectomy, and revisions of other surgeries. The program has performed over 1000 procedures and offers a comprehensive approach to weight loss including pre and post surgery services.
