The Comprehensive Cancer Center of WFBMC is the Triad’s and western North Carolina’s only cancer center designated as “comprehensive” by the National Cancer Institute. That means that we can provide you with the latest technology, treatments and research.
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology provides comprehensive care for women of all ages, ranging from adolescence to post-menopause. We offer comprehensive fetal care, urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery and maternal fetal medicine. The Center for Reproductive Medicine is one of the most successful IVF programs in the country.
The Nephrology Section of WFBMC is a world leader in cutting-edge research on inherited kidney diseases. The section is a world leader in research on peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, hypertension, and on the genetics of kidney disease, and have a patient-centered approach to research topics and projects.
