Caryl Guth Receives NC Baptist Heritage Award
Caryl Guth, MD has been named a 2013 recipient of the North Carolina Baptist Heritage Award given by the North Carolina Baptist Foundation (a statewide, independent philanthropic foundation serving Baptist-related institutions). The award was presented at a luncheon in April at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro.
The Heritage Award recognizes individuals who represent exemplary service and giving to the Baptist State Convention or organizations associated with the convention now or in previous years.
Dr. Guth is an alumna of Wake Forest University School of Medicine. In 2002, she endowed the Chair for Complementary and Integrative Medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Health through a generous and visionary gift, paving the way for the creation of the Center as we know it today. She is a member of the Center's Community Advisory Board.
Congratulations to Dr. Guth on receiving this award!
