Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is a bulge in the aorta that is frequently asymptomatic and can go undiagnosed. Aneurysm screening is recommended if you have a history of smoking and are 65 or older, or if you have a family member who has had an aortic aneurysm. Screening for abdominal aortic aneurysm is a simple, painless test that uses ultrasound to look at your abdominal arteries. Join Wake Forest Baptist Health vascular and endovascular specialist Dr. Nitin Garg for this screening. Space is limited. Appointment required; call 336-716-WAKE (9253).
