Float Pool - Certified Medical Assistant PRN
Under direct supervision of the Medical Physician, assists in the appropriate elements of administrative and clinical responsibilities within the scope of the Certified Medical Assistant's training.
Education / Experience:
Graduation from a Medical Assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and successful completion of the American Association of Medical Assistants Certification. Minimum of two years experience in an outpatient clinic setting preferred.
Licensure, Certification and/or Registration:
AAMA or RMA certification required.
Skills and Qualifications:
Applicants for this position must be flexible and willing to work in various clinical settings. Assignment will vary based on clinical needs. Travel required. Verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; phlebotomy skills a plus.
