OUTSTANDING OPPORTUNITY FOR NEUROINTENSIVIST
Wake Forest University Health Sciences in Winston Salem, North Carolina is currently seeking candidates for a Neurointensivist position within the Department of Neurology. This position is primarily inpatient based and will work closely with the existing Anesthesia Critical Care, Neurology, and Neurosurgery faculty and will serve as an integral team member of the Neurocritical Care Unit. Responsibilities include medical leadership, inpatient and outpatient care, program development, research and teaching. The coverage rotation for the NCCU is expected to be 1 /4 or 1 / 5 as well as providing support to the inpatient stroke team approximately 6 to 8 weeks per year. The Academic rank and appointment will commensurate with skill level, training, clinical and academic experience. Candidates must be Board Certified in Neurology or actively seeking certification and must be eligible and willing to attain subspecialty certification in Neurocritical Care Medicine.
