Immediate opening in the Section on Hematology and Oncology at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Blood and Marrow Transplantation
The ideal candidate for this position would be a physician with at least 5 years of clinical experience in allogeneic (related and unrelated) and autologous transplantation; a record of participation in clinical research trials and funding for laboratory and/or translational research.
The Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center is actively involved in Clinical Trials Research including:
Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology (formerly known as Cancer and Leukemia Group B ( CALGB)
Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR)
Bone Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network (BMT-CTN)
National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP)
Investigator Initiated Clinical Trials
Pharmaceutical Sponsored / Supported Clinical Trial
The Transplant Program is FACT Accredited. It is an approved Transplant Center for the NMDP as well as an approved Marrow Collection Center and Apheresis Center.
We are an NCI designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.
