Staff Pharmacist (Decentralized -Lexington) Oncology: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree) is required. Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in NC required. Oncology experience and completion of a specialty residency or fellowship and/or equivalent experience in clinical pharmacy is preferred. Provides pharmaceutical care to adult patients. Provides drug information and drug distribution services. Good decision-making, problem-solving, and supervisory skills required. Work as a member of a Patient Care Team to provide pharmaceutical care to patients. In the pharmacy, this pharmacist will facilitate efficient drug distribution and preparation of medications to patients served. This pharmacist will assist in managing the activities of a team of pharmacy technicians, serve as a drug information resource for patients, nurses and medical staff, and maintain skills and knowledge by attending required educational in-services and skills development classes.
