NCBH Compliance

What is our Mission?

To create an ethics driven atmosphere with a strong commitment to providing excellent care of our patients, our staff and to remain compliant with all governmental regulations.

What are my Responsibilities?

Staying compliant with the various laws, rules, regulations and our Hospital policies requires the efforts of everyone. Having the opportunity to ask questions and raise concerns is at the heart of our compliance program. We support and encourage open discussions of both ethical and legal questions regarding compliance issues and will not tolerate retaliation against any individual who, in good faith, raises questions or reports suspected violations.

As a Hospital employee, Subsidiary employee, student in training, or volunteer, you have a personal responsibility to report any activity that appears to violate the Code of Conduct or any applicable laws, rules, regulations or Hospital policy. If you have a question or concern regarding the appropriateness of a decision or action, it is your duty and responsibility to report it to your supervisor or the NCBH Compliance Office.

The Corporate Compliance staff is knowledgeable and well-trained. They are available to respond to many typical questions you might have. If they don't have the answer to your question, they will find someone who does. Please don't be shy about asking – they are here to help.
