Windsor Jewelers Event to Benefit Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Windsor Jewelers is partnering with the Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center to raise funds to help save the lives of seriously injured children and improve their chances of recovery.

Windsor Jewelers will host the David Yurman/Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma special benefit evening on Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at its store at 526 S. Stratford Road, Winston-Salem. Twenty percent of all sales during the event will be donated to the Childress Institute, and all attendees will receive a complimentary gift with their purchase.

The event will include the Childress family and NASCAR driver wives Kim Burton and DeLana Harvick. Guests will be eligible to win an exclusive piece of David Yurman jewelry. The event will help advance the institute’s mission of significantly improving survival rates of children nationwide who suffer serious injuries and reducing the lifelong impact of traumatic injuries in children.

“We’re asking everyone to please help us reduce the number of fatalities caused by traumatic injury to children,” Windsor Jewelers president Robert Simon said. “We and the David Yurman family look forward to assisting in this worthwhile endeavor.”

The Childress Institute will focus on key areas in treatment, education, training, research and prevention of pediatric trauma. To learn more, visit www.childresspediatrictrauma.org or call at (866) 635-8190.
