Bariatric Nutrition Services

The WFBH Bariatric Surgery Program requires a nutrition assessment be conducted on all potential candidates for Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass Surgery (RYGB), Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (VSG) and Adjustable Gastric Band (AGB). All insurance companies require this assessment as part of the pre approval process. Amber Norris, RD, LDN, is the Bariatric Surgery Coordinator and Dietitian that provides this service along with Amber Hoover,RD, LDN.
Once you have been approved for surgery, you will be seen for a nutrition education class prior to surgery to discuss your post-operative nutrition needs.
