HLA Office Coordinator
Patti Shew
Mrs. Shew joined the HLA Laboratory as Office Coordinator in July 2011. She is a certified Microsoft Office User Specialist and has a certificate in Accounting and Medical Terminology through Forsyth Technical Community College.
Patti worked in the Provider Enrollment Department with WFUHS for 2 years prior to taking the position with the HLA Lab. Prior to working at WFUHS, she worked at Hanes Brands Inc. for 16 years with her last position being Senior Forecast Analyst. In her spare time she enjoys road and mountain biking and amateur photography.
Patti is responsible for billing and fiscal accounting, system coordination and support for the HLA Laboratory’s central database and many other general administrative duties within the lab.
