James C. Eisenach, MD has received the 2013 Excellence in Research Award from the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA). Dr. Eisenach, nationally renowned for his research on the mechanisms of pain, is professor of anesthesiology and physiology and pharmacology and serves as editor-in-chief of Anesthesiology.
