The Center of Excellence for Research, Teaching and Learning [CERTL] improves educational practices through professional development, student enrichment and educational leadership.

The pathway to the accomplishment of these goals is through introducing the problem-based learning (PBL) methodology in classrooms at all levels and in a variety of enrichment opportunities. Anchoring the strategies are three pivotal elements of the CERTL programs:

  • Effective professional development for teachers
  • In-depth enrichment activities for students
  • Deep educational leadership development for administrators
