Western North Carolina Chapter is the SFN Chapter of the Year for 2009-2010
On Friday September 18th 2009, the Society for Neuroscience and the Membership & Chapters Committee (MCC) informed the executive committee that the Western North Carolina Chapter had been selected as the first recipient of the Chapter of the Year Award.
This award was started by the SfN MCC to recognize outstanding chapters for their efforts and accomplishments across a broad range of activities that are in line with the mission and strategic initiatives of SfN. As the Chapter of the Year Award winner for 2009, the Western North Carolina Chapter will receive a grant of $1,000 to support chapter goals and programs.
The award will be presented during the Chapters Workshop at Neuroscience 2009.
