The ASPREE study will explore whether a low daily dose of aspirin can help prevent conditions such as heart disease and dementia in older adults, extending their disability-free years of life.
- Random (by chance) assignment to receive either a low daily dose of aspirin or a placebo (inactive medicine).
- Age: 65 and older
- In good general health
