Environmental Health and Safety’s Walk-Around Worksite Checklist for the Administrative/Academic Work Environment

This checklist should be completed your first day on the job.  The checklist serves as a tool for basic safety information specific to your environment and location.  It includes specific emergency information such as emergency assembly points, fire alarm pull stations, and emergency phone numbers, as well as basic hazardous materials safety if you will be working near a clinic or laboratory. 

Fundamentals of Office Safety for the Administrative/Academic Work Environment (PeopleSoft Online)

This is a required online safety training module.  WFUHS has a responsibility to provide employees with a safe and healthful workplace.  Communication about hazardous chemicals is an important part of this responsibility.  This training helps to identify important safety issues surrounding chemicals in the many WFUHS environments.  The training is tailored to those individuals in an administrative/academic setting and explains basic chemical safety such as how to detect exposure, routes of entry, physical hazards, common chemical signage, and chemical labeling systems.

No follow-up classes are required for this work environment.
