MedEdPORTAL® is a free online service provided by the Association of American Medical Colleges, which aims to equip healthcare professionals across the continuum with effective and efficient educational tools to improve patient care. The program recently released a brief video which describes its three services - Publications, iCollaborative and the CE Directory. AAMC Learning Lab on Unconscious Bias in the Health Professions

Program Details
Diversity Policy and Programs has partnered with Cook Ross, an exceptional diversity and inclusion consultancy with an expertise in training and facilitation, to create a seminar on unconscious bias for health professions audiences. Cook Ross has developed an intensive and dynamic 3-day learning lab which examines how unconscious biases develop, how they influence perceptions and decision making, and their impact on institutional diversity and inclusion efforts. This unique professional development opportunity is aimed at diversity leaders in academic medicine and other professionals in healthcare and biomedical research. The University of Toronto Centre for Faculty Development, New and Emerging Academic Leaders (NEAL) Program is accepting applications for the 2014-2015 class! 
As you know, academic leaders are often promoted into roles based on their academic expertise with little, if any, leadership development.  The NEAL program is specifically designed to fill that gap. The goal of the NEAL program is to foster a productive, visionary and collaborative academic leader in the Academic Health Science System.  They are inviting applications from individuals, both nationally and internationally, with faculty appointments in Faculties of Medicine or Health Sciences who have academic leadership roles and/or responsibilities. Herbert W. Nickens Awards - Commemorating 15 Years of Leadership in Health Equity

The Harvard Macy Institute - PROGRAM FOR EDUCATORS IN HEALTH PROFESSIONS 
May 19-23, 2014
The goal is to enhance the professional development of physicians, basic scientists, and other healthcare professionals, as educators. The program is built around 5 major themes: teaching and learning, curriculum, evaluation, leadership and information technology.
