Deette “Dee” Emon, MS, BSN

Dee Emon, vice president and chief information officer

Dee Emon became vice president and chief information officer (CIO) at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in April 2015. She first joined the Medical Center as its chief clinical information officer in the spring of 2014.

Reporting to the chief financial officer, Emon is responsible for the division’s strategic development and management, technology systems and processes in support of the Medical Center.

Prior to joining the Medical Center, Emon’s experience focused on operational initiatives in growth, quality, service and cost management at Tenet Healthcare. She was an examiner on the team that assesses hospitals that are in consideration for the esteemed Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

Emon has also served as corporate chief nurse executive and quality officer at Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
