Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center Receives Employer of the Year Award

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center has received the Employer of the Year of Persons with Disabilities Award by the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. The award was presented at a banquet on May 16 in Burlington.

The award is given to businesses that are committed to hiring, training and promoting people with disabilities and that initiate and encourage work opportunities for people with disabilities.

The vocational rehabilitation services division is committed to promoting employment and independence for persons with disabilities through customer partnerships and community leadership.
