WMAG Radiothon Raises More Than $77,000 for Brenner Children’s Hospital

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A two-day radiothon on WMAG-FM, 99.5, raised more than $77,000 for Brenner Children’s Hospital at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.

The radiothon, featuring WMAG on-air personalities Lora Songster, Rod Davis and Bill Flynn, aired Thursday and Friday, Feb. 18 and 19. The funds raised will be used to advance patient care at Brenner.

Broadcast segments showcased the impact that Brenner has had on the lives of children and their families in the Triad and throughout the region, and honored some of the individuals and groups whose hard work throughout the year serves to improve the lives of all children.
