U.S. News & World Report.
Forest Baptist garners top-50 national rankings in six specialties, according
to the 2017-18 report, released today. They are Cancer (No. 27), Nephrology
(No. 27), Geriatrics (No. 33), Gynecology (No. 33), Ear, Nose & Throat (No.
34) and Neurology & Neurosurgery (No. 37).
and Nephrology have been nationally ranked by U.S. News for 10 consecutive
years. Ear, Nose & Throat has been listed five years in a row while
Neurology & Neurosurgery has made three straight appearances. Geriatrics
and Gynecology was ranked most recently in 2013.

U.S. News “Best Hospitals” rankings are based on data-driven analysis in 12
specialties and on hospital reputation as determined by physician surveys in
four areas. In the 2016-17 rankings, only 153 of the 4,667 U.S. hospitals
evaluated, or 3.2 percent, were listed in at least one specialty.
