Benefits people with Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis, Joint-Replacements, and Back Pain

What is the Medical Wellness Program?

Diagnosis-specific exercise classes for a small group of participants. Evaluation by a licensed physical therapist is required for admission into the program. The Exercise Coordinator supervises the classes..

Who can attend?     

Anyone who has been discharged from rehabilitation but is not yet ready to exercise independently. Persons whom a physician deems appropriate to benefit from a supervised exercise class, based on specific medical needs, may also enroll.

Where and when are the classes?

Medical Plaza - Miller (formerly CompRehab Plaza), Outpatient Physical Therapy Gym

Anytime from 8-12 or from 1-3. It is recommended 2-3 times per week.

What are the benefits?

  • Helping clients understand their fitness goals and creating a plan to achieve them.
  • Develop stronger bones and muscles, better posture, and improve balance.
  • A great source of motivation and encouragement, as well as a resource for the latest objective health and fitness information.
