Incontinence Impact Questionnaire & Urogenital Distress Inventory

Now Available: Survey Instruments to Assess Impact of Urinary Incontinence on Women's Lives

WFBMC researchers developed and validated two survey instruments for collecting detailed data on how urinary incontinence affects women's lives.  The Office of Women in Medicine and Science (OWIMS) administers the use and permission to use the Incontinence Impact Questionnaire (IIQ) and Urogenital Distress Inventory (UDI).

The IIQ measures the impact of urinary incontinence on activities, roles, and emotional states. The UDI measures how troubling the symptoms are to women.

There is a one-time, $250 administrative fee for use of these questionnaires.
