The Wake Forest PA Program welcomes Courtney Perry, PharmD, as the new course director for pharmacology. Coco grew up outside of Cleveland, Ohio, but learned she wasn’t built for snow and moved to South Carolina, where she completed her undergraduate studies and pharmacy school at the University of South Carolina. She then moved to Winston-Salem, where she completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice and PGY2 Pediatric Specialty residencies at Wake Forest. Coco taught in the PA program during residency and immediately fell in love with the students, so she jumped at the chance to become a course director when the opportunity came her way. She continues to practice clinical pharmacy at Brenner Children’s Hospital; and when she is not at the hospital or teaching PA students, she enjoys hanging out with friends, attending concerts, working out, art, and going to USC Gamecock football games.
