Suzanne Watson

Suzanne Watson - Wake Forest School of Medicine | Student FeatureSuzanne Watson, a former pastor of an Episcopal congregation in the San Diego area, received her AARP card and Wake Forest School of Medicine acceptance letter in the same week.  

At the time of her admission, Watson was a single mother of four—her husband committed suicide after suffering depression in silence for years. Watson, now 54 and a fourth-year medical student, is scheduled to graduate in May and start her psychiatry residency in July.
