I plan to travel between two facilities that are on a scheduled route. Can I plan my trip times by the posted schedule?
Yes. Unless there is a delay beyond our control, we will strive to adhere to the departure times posted for all scheduled routes.
Will vans on the scheduled routes stop at facilities that are not on the scheduled routes?
No. The stops on the scheduled routes are timed to stay on schedule. The drivers will only visit the facilities on the routes.
What if I need to transport a patient who is in a wheelchair or needs assistance boarding the van?

If I contact Van Dispatch at 336-716-RIDE (336-716-7433) for travel between facilities that are not on a scheduled route, how soon will I arrive at my destination?
Requests for travel between facilities that are not on a scheduled route are placed in a service queue as they are received. Travel time will depend on the number of requests at that time.
Will there be a minimum number of people needed for pick-up on an unscheduled route?
No. Requests that are not on a schedule will be completed by the next available driver.
Will van service be available on weekends and holidays?
No. The van service will only be available Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 5:30 PM. The final WFU Route departure is from Eden Terrace at 5:15 pm.
What if a Severe Weather Emergency is issued? Will Van Services continue to operate as scheduled?
Van Services will operate on the scheduled routes as long as possible.
