Nursing at Wake Forest Baptist Medical

Nationally Recognized Nursing Staff

Research shows that patients and families define caring and healing environments as those in which they are actively involved in their own care – where they feel as though they are seen as whole people (body, mind and spirit), and where they have established an individualized relationship with physicians, nurses and other care providers.

North Carolina Baptist Hospital is one of the Top 100 Hospitals to Work For according to "Nursing Professionals" magazine.

Honoring Our Nurses

Every day our 3,800 nurses care for our patients, families and colleagues. Each year National Nurses Week – May 6 to May 12 – celebrates the role that nurses play. They are the largest group of health care professionals here, nationally and in the world. May is a great time to show our appreciation. Thank you!
