Low-dose CT Screening

Low-dose CT screenings are offered at High Point Medical Center, Premier Imaging, and Westchester Imaging. Screenings are covered by most major insurances.

Pulmonary Nodule Clinic

Dr. Karl Thomas, Pulmonologist, leads this clinic focused on diagnostic assessement of potentially cancerous nodules found during CT screenings for lung cancer. Endobronchial ultrasound is a minimally invasive technology used to diagnose lung cancer, infections and other diseases in the chest.

Thoracic Oncology Surgical Services

A cardiothoracic surgeon will identify the best surgical approach for lung cancer patients, ranging from traditional surgical options to the latest techniques, including the robotic-assisted thoracic surgery. This procedure, using the most advanced technology available, is minimally invasive, results in less pain, and fewer complications.

Oncology Nurse Navigation Services

Kimberly Ricks, Lung Nurse Navigator, serves as the patient point of contact, assisting in coordinating clinical cancer care as well as assisting wiith insurance, financial, family and community support resources.
