What is the Daisy Award?
The DAISY Foundation was established in 2000 by the family of J. Patrick Barnes in his memory. His family started the award as a way to thank nurses everywhere for the extraordinary compassionate care they provide to patients every day. Nurses receive the award through nominations and stories provided by patients and their families.
