- 2 cups chopped tomatoes
- 1/3 cup chopped yellow or white onion
- 2 tbsps chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tbsps lime juice
- 1-2 jalapeño or Serrano peppers, stemmed, seeded and finely chopped
- ¼ tsp sea salt (optional)
Put all ingredients into a bowl, toss well and serve chilled or at room temperature.
Test Kitchen Tip: A combination of tomatoes and fresh preaches, nectarines, mangoes or grapes may be used instead of the chopped tomatoes.
