Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments Available
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist has received 6,900 doses of the Pfizer pediatric COVID-19 to provide to children ages 5-11 throughout our region during Waves 1 and 2 of the vaccine distribution plan. The smaller-dose vaccine is given in a two-dose series three weeks apart. Read the FDA Fact Sheet for more detailed information about the vaccine.
Appointments will be available at a number of pediatric primary clinics throughout the region with plans to expand to other locations in the coming weeks. Parents/guardians must accompany the child to the appointment to provide written consent.

Important Changes for North Carolina Managed Medicaid Patients
Open enrollment has closed for NC Managed Medicaid. If you did not enroll, NC Medicaid auto-enrolled you into a health plan so there is no lapse in your coverage. You can expect to receive a confirmation notice and a health plan welcome packet from NC Medicaid. New plans will take effect on July 1.
