Special Activity Groups are self-sustaining groups that are affiliated with the Guild and have been formed by members who share a common enthusiasm for a specific area of interest. The organization, membership, meeting times and activities are determined and funded by the members in each group. For information on any of these groups, please email guild@wakehealth.edu.

Ronald McDonald House Hospitality
The Medical Guild has three different committees of volunteers who provide meals for out-of-town residents staying at the Ronald McDonald House while their children receive treatment in our community medical facilities. Each group is responsible for meals four times a year.
The groups either prepare meals at the house or deliver meals from local restaurants. If you would like additional information contact: givner.marie@gmail.com.
Savory Samplings
Members of this group meet several times a year where meals are prepared by members or where members attend a food demonstration or go on a field trip. Minimal annual dues are collected from each member to cover miscellaneous expenses. For additional information, contact Connie Roy,
connieknits@gmail.com.
Social Bridge
The group meets in members’ homes weekly on Monday afternoons. All levels of players (except true beginners) are invited for a fun afternoon of social bridge. For additional information, contact Gayle Meredith, gaylemeredith@gmail.com.
