Within Atrium Health, we use survey results to better understand what is important to our patients and how we can improve healthcare experiences. - October 13, 2023 Mark Phillps, PA is an excellent healthcare provider. He thoroughly reviewed my operative notes with us and took time to answer all of our questions. He listened to my concerns and took my pain and discomfort very seriously. He presented treatment options and explained how he was coming to decisions regarding my care and asked for my input. When it came time to remove my chest tube, he explained everything that was about to happen and skillfully executed the procedure exactly as he had said it would go. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the appointment and really put me at ease despite the fact that I was really hurting when we arrived, and even asked that we ask the staff to let him know when we return in a week for my suture removal if he isn't my assigned provider that day. I would recommend him all day every day!
