About Me

I am a board-certified otolaryngologist and sleep-medicine physician. I specialize in general otolaryngology and in the evaluation and treatment of sleep-related conditions. My residency training was at Washington University in St. Louis, MO where I subsequently received fellowship training in microvascular and reconstructive surgery.

I am currently chief of surgery at Wilkes Medical Center and director of the sleep laboratory. My primary interest currently is the Inspire implant as an alternative to CPAP for obstructive sleep apnea. I have practiced in a variety of settings in both academic and private environments. I live with my family in Wilkesboro.
