Sauteed Kale


Sauteed KaleIngredients

  • 1 large bunch kale, stems removed and leaves chopped
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil 
  • 2 to 4 cloves garlic, sliced 
  • ½ cup vegetable or chicken stock or water 
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbs. red wine vinegar, optional


  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. 
  2. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.  
  3. Add the kale and stock; stir, cover and cook for 5 minutes. 
  4. Remove cover and continue to cook, stirring until all the liquid has evaporated and kale is tender. 
  5. Add vinegar if using and season to taste with salt and pepper.
