Tuna and Apple Salad


Tuna and Apple SaladIngredients

  • 6 ounce can tuna, drained (packed in water)
  • 1 cup chopped fresh apple
  • 2 tablespoons slivered almonds
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 2 whole-grain pita, halved or large lettuce leaves


  1. Combine first 7 ingredients (through pepper) in a small bowl. Toss gently.
  2. Serve in pita halves or lettuce leaf.
