You deserve to have a trusted place for medical care. At Highland Avenue Primary Care Clinic, we aim to be just that: the first stop for healthcare services for you and your family. Our providers focus on preventive care so you can stay as healthy as possible. Should you become sick, our team will work to get you the help you need quickly, so you can get back to the people and activities that are important to you.

Our clinic is located on North Highland Avenue in the heart of Winston-Salem, convenient to public transportation. If you are sick, we will make every effort to serve you with a same-day or next-day appointment, to help you avoid a trip to the emergency room.

Highland Avenue Primary Care Clinic offers medical care for patients of all ages. We believe prevention is the best medicine; we want to keep you healthy whenever possible. That means seeing you for regular checkups so small problems can be addressed before they become larger concerns. Our providers offer a full range of primary care services for children, adolescents, adults and seniors, including:

Treatment of acute minor illnesses, including colds, sore throats and the flu
Well-child checkups
Sick-child visits
Immunizations and vaccines, including flu shots
School, camp and sports physicals
Annual adult physicals
Medicare annual wellness visits
Screening for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)
Management of chronic illnesses, including diabetes, hypertension (high blood pressure), high cholesterol, acid reflux (GERD), weight problems, arthritis and osteoporosis
Minor procedures, including laceration repair, incision and drainage, and skin lesion destruction and excision
Gynecologic exams and women’s health services
Ear washes
Spirometry (pulmonary function testing)

Convenient parking is available just outside our door, accessible from Highland Avenue and Carl Russel Avenue.
