Activities
Wellness Discovery
From the bicycling skeleton, to the transparent anatomical mannequin, to the life-size Michael Jordan measuring machine, Wellness Discovery Place makes health education as entertaining as it is educational!
This exhibit-filled area is the hi-tech centerpiece of the Millis Center and a sure winner with kids, who gladly seize the opportunity to get some “hands-on” health education. Whether it’s our touch screen computer games, the Corner Market or our brand new, larger than life human body puzzle and dental health exhibit, who knew learning about health could be this much fun?
Learning Theatres
The Millis Regional Health Education Center takes a “hands-on” approach to learning. Two specialized learning theaters contain large 3-D exhibits and displays that are used in programs led by our professional health educators. Computer and video equipment are creatively used to enhance programs with a variety of sights and sounds. A Wireless Student Response System helps create a game-show atmosphere that’s so much fun, kids forget they are learning!
