Text messages are a convenient way to receive appointment reminders. You will receive a text three days before your appointment where you can either confirm or cancel your appointment.
Effective, July 16, 2018, all patients who have a cell phone number listed in their health record will automatically receive text message appointment reminders for any appointments scheduled July 19, 2018 and going forward.

No. You can choose to receive appointment reminders via text or phone, you will not receive both.
Yes. All outpatient clinics and ancillary services that provide procedural appointments, including Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy (PT/OT), provide automated appointment reminders for text messaging reminders. Patients with PT/OT appointments will receive a reminder text two days before their appointment.
