Within Atrium Health, we use survey results to better understand what is important to our patients and how we can improve healthcare experiences. The overall Patient Rating score comes from the questions on our Medallia Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a scale, where 0 represents "very poor" and 10 represents "very good.” Those scores are shown as 1 to 5 stars on the provider’s profile.
Patient Comments
- July 4, 2022 Dr. Clark was very professional and friendly. He put me at ease and explained my condition and options that I had. I would definitely recommend his office for any problem that you have with your liver. He's the best!
- July 3, 2022 I was transferred to Wake 5 years ago at the end of May, 201, after a routine surgery that went wrong at another hospital. By God’s grace, Dr. Clark was able to assess the damage that had occurred, and with the help of his surgical team, I am here today and doing well.
- June 25, 2022 love him smart compassionate takes time to explain my situation really cares about my health and wants to keep in touch to know that if i have any further problem that i can come and see him if i feel necessary!

- May 22, 2022 Dr. Clancy Clark is an outstanding Surgeon and excellent doctor that I have ever met in my entire life. He is very humble, friendly, personable and down to earth. He listens to all my concerns and put my mind at ease. Thank you dr. Clark and God Bless.
- May 19, 2022 Very helpful, explaining things in a way I could understand.
- May 19, 2022 From the actual testing to the surgery I will have in June, I believe I got the “best of the best” in medical care. I was actually able to see the physicians BEFORE the procedures, rather than right before I was “put under.” Both took time to explain the procedures, what each would be looking for and recovery. Amazingly, both touched me, very uncommon in the day of virtual and impersonal care. Medicine has changed tremendously in my 74 years, some things very positive with new discoveries, techniques and medications. In general, bedside manner has lapsed, but not with any of the “my” caregivers at Atrium Wake Forest.

- April 8, 2022 I can only give my input for the time spent during my consultation. I have yet to have surgery. The surgery outcome would determine my evaluation more accurately. During the consultation, Dr. Clark was focused on me. He was clear. He was assertive with his PA to get my complete records and diagnosis from my MD that day.
